"Growing up means admitting you're getting old. That's like welcoming death..."
(Couldn't fit the whole quote up there, so here's the story.)
An angry old man scolds a boy for being so eluded, and tells him
to grow the fuck up, basically. The boy then says, boldly, proudly:
"Growing up means admitting you're getting old.
That's like welcoming death.
And while I don't fear death, I don't welcome it either.
I will never "grow up".
- SCRYED, Chapter 31, volume 4, page 92.
Art by Yasunari Toda & story by Yosuke Kuroda, 2001.
I haven't read the manga itself yet though. I was flicking through
for reference purposes (thanks for the hookity uppa Mark^^). And
well, this page's powerful words jump me on the way. I was like, O_O!
So rememberkids, age is just a number. You're only as old as you feel.
On other news, hey I came a happy 3rd in the PSU Thanks Festa,
so thanksuu again to everyone who took their sweet time to vote! :)
